I am the administrator of the Lake Tschida website, reservation system, the advertising and accounting system and find that most of the campers over the past seven (7) years that have used online reservations and have camped at Lake Tschida are completely satisfied with the way the system works as well as its employees and their professionalism.
Great for camping
Lake Tschida is managed in partnership by (twelve) 12 people from the three (3) towns in Grant County (New Leipzig, Elgin and Carson) {Tri-Cities Joing Job Development Authority - TCJJDA) with the US Bureau of Reclamation under the authority of the US Department of the Interior.
Immediately harrassed by a worker about atv usage once we pulled into our camping site. Dog feces along walking paths. Garbage laying around play ground area. Couldn't use the dock because people were fishing from it. Wish there was a kayak ramp. Public restrooms surprisingly clean.
It is sad that this person, who uses the "SCREEN NAME" of "DAY RON" gives a 1 STAR review by using the lake manager's name trashing her publically, not knowing the federal rules and regulations she has to abide by.
As the Lake Tschida FACEBOOK administrator I have blocked him from lake's "FACEBBOOK" page, (and not the manager) and he has been forbidden to camp at the lake due to his horrendous behavior in the past which, has been documented.
We got kicked out for following the rules, we only complained 2 times for 2 different people keeping us up all night with the dog and loud music and they tried to say we complained 16 times I guess 2 is the new 16
Without the volunteering of these twelve (12) people there would be "NO" Lake Tschida and its ammenities as it exists today.
